Sustained criminal activity in July
The past month was marked by a high level of criminal activity across the country:
numerous burglaries;
several violent assaults and armed robberies;
homicides;
targeted scams: bogus police officers, fake bank security officials, remote takeovers of computers and fraudulent QR codes.
Major public security events
The report also looks back at the incidents that mobilised the authorities: an ATM attacked with explosives, several fires, an explosion in a residential building, an incident involving a chemical substance and a number of large-scale police operations.
